Job Summary

Join our client’s team as a Regional Sales Manager for Work holding Products! In this role, you'll oversee sales activities of independent representatives and distribution partners to drive growth in the East Coast territory.

Our Workholding Products Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of workholding products within a east coast territory. By building strong customer relationships, understanding their manufacturing needs, and effectively presenting and selling workholding solutions equipment, to achieve sales targets and market penetration within the manufacturing industry; requiring a deep technical knowledge of workholding applications, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in industrial sales

Our client offers a $110,000 base salary and a generous commission and bonus program yielding a realistic first year total earnings of $165,000. They also offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health Insurance, 401k with match, PTO and much more. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industry professionals for market insights and growth strategies.
- Execute strategic sales plans to meet regional and corporate objectives.
- Train and support sales personnel on our leading products and services.
- Monitor sales metrics and provide performance evaluations for representatives and distributors.
- Report on key account activities and competitive landscape.

Required Skills

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced technical education or college degree is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to travel regionally as necessary (50% or more)
  • A minimum of five years of outside industry sales and/or sales management experience, preferably in the machining and/or machine tool industry.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes and machine tool operation, ideally with a background as a machinist or direct sales experience with products used by machinists
  • Experience with zero-point workholding systems and automation integration preferred.
