Our clients We have been retained to find a passionate and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team and help them achieve their business objectives.

The Regional Sales Manager will leverage operational experience in water management and wastewater treatment (WWT) and environmental compliance to develop and implement short to mid-range business objectives and strategic sales plans in coordination with tour clients Environmental Sales and Marketing Management Teams. This role requires frequent travel to customer sites and occasional visits to the Corporate Headquarters. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with current and prospective clients, as well as internal sales and engineering departments.

Our client offers a competitive $95,000 base salary range, plus commissions and bonuses yielding a realistic first year total earnings range of $145,000 - and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Responsibilities

- Technically and strategically direct the territory for all water sales initiatives in compliance with local governing authority discharge limits, US EPA requirements, and other potential needs of end users that may require new water systems.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Identify sales opportunities and pursue new business initiatives in the water management and wastewater treatment sectors.
- Prepare and present compelling technical sales proposals, addressing the unique needs of each client.
- Provide training and support to internal sales and engineering teams to enhance their understanding of water management solutions and promote effective sales strategies.
- Lead post-bid negotiations, ensuring that all agreements are beneficial for both the company and the client.
- Uphold and demonstrate our client’s core values in all aspects of the role.
- Develop and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and performance metrics.


Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in water management, wastewater treatment, or environmental compliance.
- Strong understanding of US EPA regulations and local governing authority discharge limits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
