Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Director is responsible for driving growth and development of infectious disease testing in a designated geographic territory, primarily targeting high-volume outpatient clinics. Key duties include identifying and securing new business, onboarding new accounts, and maintaining and servicing existing accounts.
The Territory Sales Director is responsible for driving growth and development of infectious disease testing in a designated geographic territory, primarily targeting high-volume outpatient clinics. Key duties include identifying and securing new business, onboarding new accounts, and maintaining and servicing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel within the assigned territory under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Sales to engage potential clients and secure profitable new business.
- Present service offerings, products, and the value proposition effectively to prospective customers.
- Actively participate in key selling initiatives and develop strong relationships with customers to generate referrals and cross-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with the Sales and Management Teams to forecast proposal close dates, align goals, and contribute to the company’s success.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to explore strategies for increasing customer acquisition.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets on a monthly and annual basis.
- Introduce additional service lines to expand offerings and meet customer needs.
Required Skills
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven success in medical sales, with a strong track record of calling on physician offices, healthcare facilities, or hospitals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong ability to independently research, organize, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in territory planning and management.
